I started learning dog training and working alongside trainers at the age of 18 and soon got qualified with the IMDT. After completing their assessment, I completed further courses specifically looking at canine aggression, separation anxiety, puppy cognitive development, and advanced behaviour modification & studied the Level 3 behavioural course in Learning, Motivation & Reinforcement & now onto my level 4 Diploma in Canine Behaviour.  After this I went on to complete my bronze in UK Sniffer Dogs and continue to study further into the benefits of scentwork.

 

At 19 I adopted my own boy Arlo.

Arlo was a Bulgarian street dog and taught me more about patience, understanding and earning trust than any dog training course as we worked through his fears and aggressive behaviours towards people. This has meant that I work a lot with rehomed street dogs and work directly with multiple different foreign rescues all across Europe to help adopters get the best outcomes.

As a dog trainer, I want to help as many people as possible with their dogs and work closely with owners to build the best relationship with their new family member. I am focussed on your dogs emotional responses to the world around them and making sure they can be happy and confident (and to help you feel happy and confident with your dog as well)

My life is unconventional, I live in a van, I travel the UK hiking, climbing and wild swimming with Arlo by my side. While I used to work in person I have now moved my business online to be able to do more of these adventures and to be able to help people all across the UK and online Worldwide with their dogs!
